The Lab's primary funding comes from several corporate sponsors from various academic institutions and industries, including National Science Council, Industrial Technology Research Institute of Taiwan, Institute for Information Industry, MediaTek, and several technology related industries and organizations.

Through the bonding with sponsors, the Lab engages in pursuing cutting-edge communication research, providing an abundance of technologies and ideas to cultivate in the field of communication.

The lab undertakes numerous projects with these sponsors; collaboratively we establish communication standards, exploit potentials for next generation wireless technologies and develop a variety of applications of communication networks and mechanisms. We provide intellectual property, knowledge transfer, and talent recruitment for these sponsoring institutes and industries.
